The Nigeria Police Force (NPF)  invites applications from suitably qualified Nigerians for enlistment into the Nigeria Police Force as Police Constables (Recruits).

The need by the present leadership to reposition the Force through capacity building calls for the recruitment of Police Officers of lower cadre into the Nigeria Police Force. In order to align with International standard and best practices and the United Nation Standard of Policing, the Force needs virile and dynamic police officers for better service delivery and mitigiating emerging security challenges. To this end, our goal is to ensure the safety of lives and property of the Nigeria citizens and make Nigeria safer and more secured for economic development and growth.

Nigeria Police Force Recruitment Eligibility & Requirements.

  • Nationality: Be a Nigerian citizen by birth and possess National Identity Number (NIN).
  • Age: Must not be less than 18 years of age or more than 25 years of age.
  • Education: Must have an O’ Level certificate at least five credits level passes including Mathematics and English Language in not more than two sittings in WASSCE/GCE/NECO/NABTEB.
  • Character: Must be of good character and must not have been convicted of any criminal offence.
  • Height: Must not be less than 1.67 metres in height for men and 1.64 metres for women.
  • Chest Measurement Must not have less than 86 cm (34 inches) expanded chest measurement (for men only).
  • Physical Features: Must not have any one of the following abnormalities or deformities: Speech Impediment, Knock Knees, Bow Legs, Bent Knees, Flat Feet, Deformed Hands which cannot perform the full functions of the hand, Defective Eyesight or Squint Eyes, Amputation of any part of the body, Gross Malformation of teeth, Protruding Navel, Body Scars etc.
  • Pregnancy: Must not be pregnant at the time of Recruitment.
  • Financial Status: Must be free from any pecuniary embarrassment.
  • Guarantors’ Form: Must download and fill the Guarantors’ Form, presenting verifiable references from any two (2) of the following: Traditional Rulers, Magistrate, Local Government Chairman, Heads of Educational Institutions attended. Career Civil Servant not below the rank of Grade Level 12, Police Officer not below the rank of CSP, or Military Officer not below the rank of Lieutenant Colonel. Possession of a valid National Drivers’ License is an added advantage.
  • NOTE: All candidates must undergo medical examination before final selection.

Newly Improve State Indigenous Certificate as Approved by Kano State Government on December 14th 2017.The criteria cited based on the newly improve indigene are as follows:

  1. Review of the indigenous certificate by the Kano state Guidance & Counseling Board 2017 at the sum of  1,200  naira only for the purchase of form/production of certificate.
  2. the old version of the indigenous certificate stand valid. so also interested applicant who want to renew his/her certificates will have to

I. Forward the previous certificate

II. will issue recent colored passport size photograph

III. The sum of 600.00 naira only will be remitted for certificate renewal.

IV. Any alteration on the old certificate will not be entertained,without police report or affidavit from the court.

Job Summary

  • The Human Resource Executive is responsible for providing support in the various Human Resources functions, maintains payroll and benefit record requirements for accounting of salary, benefits, accruals, and deductions.

Key Accountabilities / Responsibilities

  • Interprets, implements, and maintains policies and procedures pertaining to payroll and benefits.
  • Ensures payroll database reflects current and accurate information; verifies and inputs pay and data changes.
  • Calculates termination payments in compliance with policy.
  • Prepares invoices and payments associated with payroll.
  • Audits and maintains accurate benefit use and accruals.
  • Submits payroll and benefit reports to external agencies as requested
  • Enroll newly employed employees on APL Medical Scheme, Workers Compensation and Pension Scheme.
  • Tracks, reports and monitors Workers Compensation claims.
  • Timely and accurate remittances of PAYE and other statutory deductions to the approved authorities.
  • Creates new hire personnel files.
  • Engage in promoting and living the core values of APL, monitory employee insurance, pension scheme, group life insurance and delivering improvements through appropriate and considered employee benefits.
  • Take responsibility for ensuring the implementation of all HR policy, ensuring that all HR issues are dealt with within the timescales set out in the policy and procedures of APL.

The Federal Civil Service Commission has announced a nationwide recruitment exercise to fill vacancies at several ministries, departments and agencies.

The commission listed Ministry of Information, Ministry of Environment and the Bureau of Public Procurement amongst the federal establishments with several openings. The Ministry of Justice and the Ministry of Trade and Investments are also taking new applications.

The commission urged all qualified job-seekers to apply online at www.fedcivilservice.gov.ng. The website could not be accessed as at 10:47 a.m. Friday morning. But applicants are advised to keep trying as the downtime might be due to the traffic from applicants.

Those eligible to apply are holders of Ordinary National Diploma, Higher National Diploma, Bachelor of Arts and Bachelor of Science.

The locations of the openings were listed as Abia, Abuja, Adamawa, Akwa Ibom, Anambra, Bauchi, Bayelsa, Benue, Borno, Cross River, Delta, Ebonyi, Edo, Ekiti, Enugu, Gombe, Imo, Jigawa, Kaduna, Kano, Katsina, Kebbi, Kogi, Kwara, Lagos, Nassarawa, Niger, Ogun, Ondo, Osun, Oyo, Plateau, Rivers, Sokoto, Taraba, Yobe, Zamfara.
